Although it is very satisfying to see this Bush administration get the resounding voter backlash it deserved I fear that the Democrats could try and roll back tax cuts and a adopt a more protectionist stance, both a negative as far as economic freedom is concerned. |

Democratic control of both the senate and the house will probably mean complete gridlock as far as any new initiatives is concerned. I wonder whether this means that the "tortilla wall" to protect the US from illegal immigrants out of Mexico will now be shelved. |
